The story starts on a dark night, far north, hidden by the trees and mountains. A young broken heart holds his misguided salvation in hand. With the sound of his untimely release from this life, his story will not end so quickly. He unknowingly threw himself at the mercy of the Fates. Someone, unknown by the Young One makes a deal with a Maiden of Death to bring the Young One back from the abyss.
The Young One, waking from what felt like a Nightmare, cannot recall what happened, at this point or at any point in his life; his memories have been locked behind fog and shadows. The Death Maiden sets the terms of his rebirth. The Young One must go out and reclaim his memories and set things right if he going to find eternal rest.
Driven by curiousness and the warming image of a Young Angel, the Young One sets out. With Faith at his side, Rose in hand, Darkness in him and Rage not far behind, he has a long road ahead...

You have the bare bones of an excellent story here. The ideas are good, with the "second chance" and the means of attaining it.
I already find myself needing to know the answers to various (as yet unanswered) questions.
a)Why is The Young One about to die young?
b)Why is his heart broken, by whom, is that the cause of his fast approaching demise?
c)What is the identity of the someone who made a pact(?) with the Maiden Of Death? Is it the person who broke his heart?
d)Does that someone have to forfeit their own life in order to save The Young One.
e)Where does the Young Angel fit in?
f)Are Faith Rose Darkness and Rage to be personified? Or are they to be left as emotions and icons (of beauty)?
